Tift, IIIPresident & CEO Tommy Tift is the President, CEO and Founder of HealthAmerica Realty Group, L.L.C., a 10 year old Atlanta based real estate company that specializes in Medical Office Buildings only. HealthAmerica currently has management and leasing assignments for over 1,500,000 square feet of medical office space across the Sunbelt with employees in offices in Atlanta, Tampa, and Southern California (Aliso Viejo). HealthAmerica's clients include the major healthcare REITs, hospitals/health systems, physicians, institutional investors and individual investors who own medical office buildings. Tommy has over 22 years experience in the medical office building/healthcare real estate industry which encompasses development, investment brokerage sales, leasing, financing and workouts of medical office buildings and healthcare facilities throughout the United States. He began his medical office career with Hardwick and Associates a Los Angeles-based medical real estate company in 1982 where he served for seven years as a full time real estate consultant/broker to the real estate development division of American Medical International, Inc. (AMI). AMI was located in Beverly Hills, California and was the second largest owner of hospitals in the world with 225. From 1989 until forming HealthAmerica Realty Group in 1994 Tommy brokered and developed medical office buildings with different individual partners through his company, The Medical Property Company, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia. Tommy is a native of Atlanta and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia in 1978. Tommy is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. R. MooreSenior Vice President, Planning & Development Bob Moore serves as Senior Vice President of Planning and Development. Prior to joining HealthAmerica Bob co-founded and served as Executive Vice President of an outpatient surgical company that developed and managed free standing ambulatory surgery centers. Bob was co-founding partner (1982) of the nationally recognized physician practice management firm of Gates, Moore & Company in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as CEO and specialized in assisting physician groups and hospitals. Under his leadership the Company compiled a client list that included national hospital systems, insurance carriers, medical specialty societies and numerous single and multi-specialty physician groups. He is a published author of several articles in healthcare journals. Bob attended Babson College where he received a B.S. an M.B.A. degree. He attained the rank of Captain in the United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam. His professional affiliations include serving as an advisory board member for Physician Practice Digest Magazine and the Institute of Health Administration for Georgia State University. HallSenior Vice President, Leasing & Sales Steve Hall has over ten years of licensed leasing and sales experience in the metro Atlanta office market, and exclusively represents medical owners and tenants. As a medical real estate specialist, he represents hospitals, healthcare REITs, and physician practices for all of their real estate needs, including but not limited to landlord and tenant representation, contract negotiations, dispositions, acquisitions, subleasing and feasibility studies. In, January 2004, Steve became the Vice President in Leasing & Sales and currently manages and oversees seven real estate agents that work throughout the southeast. Prior to joining HealthAmerica Realty Group in 1999, Steve worked as an office-leasing agent at Lavista Associates, a local commercial real estate firm. M. Hilscher, RNVice President of Operations When Susan Hilscher joined Health America Realty Group as a licensed commercial real estate agent in 2002, she brought to our clients 30 years of healthcare operational experience from clinical and executive positions in hospitals and physicians organizations. Between 1985 and 1994 Susan was on staff at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta as a nurse, nurse recruiter, and Director for all of the physician-related, for-profit companies. In 1994, as Executive Director, Ms. Hilscher developed an Orthopaedic IPA, which later became a founding member of OrthoLink, Inc.. Serving as Regional Vice President for OrthoLink's largest region, Ms. Hilscher facilitated the consolidation of 58 of the physicians into a single practice, developed a central business office and was involved in the development of several medical office facilities and ASC's. Prior to coming to HARG, Ms Hilscher served as an operations consultant for a Design-Development company specializing in healthcare facilities. Wagner Vice President, Managing Director of Florida Darren Wagner joined HealthAmerica Realty Group in 2004 and brings 17 years of commercial real estate experience to our organization. Prior to joining HealthAmerica, Darren managed and leased properties for several medical institutions throughout Central and South Florida. His list of clients included Avmed Health Plan, AEtna, Travelers Insurance, Prudential, and HCA/Columbia Healthcare. With a solid background in construction and energy management, one of his strengths lies in the ability to increase the net operating income of his portfolio while ensuring tenant retention. He currently represents several medical franchisees expanding throughout the state and is aggressively expanding Health America Realty's Florida portfolio. Darren graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and is a Florida Real Estate Broker, a Real Property Administrator (RPA) and a CCIM candidate. He is also a member of Building Owners Managers Association (BOMA). C.
Lee Evans IIISenior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer Lee Evans serves as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining HealthAmerica Realty Group, Lee worked at Servidyne Systems, an energy management company providing engineering and maintenance expertise to building owners both in the commercial and hospitality real estate facilities across the country. Lee was part of several start-up companies, iTendant a web-based and wireless service request and preventive maintenance work order system allowing owners to increase visibility into their building operations. During such time, Lee was successful in securing agreements in excess of 25 million square feet which lead to the successful sale of iTendant to Servidyne Systems in the spring of 2004. Lee was an initial member of Cypress Communications securing Communications License Agreements with owners of real estate portfolios to provide high speed internet, telecommunications and business cable television. The Cypress’ Corporate Development group was instrumental in licensing over 300 million square feet of office space in over 50 US markets. This success culminated in Cypress IPO in 2000. Lee also has over 15 years of commercial real estate sales, leasing and marketing experience having held positions with Equity Office Properties Trust, Beacon Properties Trust, Taylor & Mathis and White & Associates. Bryan Controller Patrick Bryan joined HealthAmerica Realty Group, L.L.C. in 2005 as Controller. His responsibilities include the overall management of the financial and accounting functions for the company. Patrick comes to HealthAmerica with almost twenty years of experience in accounting of which thirteen of those have been specifically in real estate. Most recently Patrick has worked with Jamestown Management Corp. whose portfolio consists of several Class A properties throughout the United States.
