Thomas W. Tift, III
President & CEO

Tommy Tift is the President, CEO and Founder of HealthAmerica Realty Group, L.L.C., a 10 year old Atlanta based real estate company that specializes in Medical Office Buildings only. HealthAmerica currently has management and leasing assignments for over 1,500,000 square feet of medical office space across the Sunbelt with employees in offices in Atlanta, Tampa, and Southern California (Aliso Viejo). HealthAmerica's clients include the major healthcare REITs, hospitals/health systems, physicians, institutional investors and individual investors who own medical office buildings. Tommy has over 22 years experience in the medical office building/healthcare real estate industry which encompasses development, investment brokerage sales, leasing, financing and workouts of medical office buildings and healthcare facilities throughout the United States. He began his medical office career with Hardwick and Associates a Los Angeles-based medical real estate company in 1982 where he served for seven years as a full time real estate consultant/broker to the real estate development division of American Medical International, Inc. (AMI). AMI was located in Beverly Hills, California and was the second largest owner of hospitals in the world with 225. From 1989 until forming HealthAmerica Realty Group in 1994 Tommy brokered and developed medical office buildings with different individual partners through his company, The Medical Property Company, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia. Tommy is a native of Atlanta and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia in 1978. Tommy is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. He is a member of the Atlanta Downtown Rotary Club, Georgia Hospital Association and board of Piedmont Cotton Mills, Inc.

Robert R. Moore
Senior Vice President,
Planning & Development

Bob Moore serves as Senior Vice President of Planning and Development. Prior to joining HealthAmerica Bob co-founded and served as Executive Vice President of an outpatient surgical company that developed and managed free standing ambulatory surgery centers. Bob was co-founding partner (1982) of the nationally recognized physician practice management firm of Gates, Moore & Company in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as CEO and specialized in assisting physician groups and hospitals. Under his leadership the Company compiled a client list that included national hospital systems, insurance carriers, medical specialty societies and numerous single and multi-specialty physician groups. He is a published author of several articles in healthcare journals. Bob attended Babson College where he received a B.S. an M.B.A. degree. He attained the rank of Captain in the United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam. His professional affiliations include serving as an advisory board member for Physician Practice Digest Magazine and the Institute of Health Administration for Georgia State University. He was a founding board member of the Georgia Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers and is a board member of The Myers Group.

Stephen S. Hall
Senior Vice President,
Leasing & Sales

Steve Hall has over ten years of licensed leasing and sales experience in the metro Atlanta office market, and exclusively represents medical owners and tenants. As a medical real estate specialist, he represents hospitals, healthcare REITs, and physician practices for all of their real estate needs, including but not limited to landlord and tenant representation, contract negotiations, dispositions, acquisitions, subleasing and feasibility studies. In, January 2004, Steve became the Vice President in Leasing & Sales and currently manages and oversees seven real estate agents that work throughout the southeast. Prior to joining HealthAmerica Realty Group in 1999, Steve worked as an office-leasing agent at Lavista Associates, a local commercial real estate firm. Steve graduated in 1994 with a BA degree in Communications from the University of Georgia and is an active member in the Decatur Rotary Club.

Curt Mann
COO & Chief Sustainability Office

As COO, Curt directs all Property and Asset Management of the Health America Realty’s medical office building portfolio. This includes oversight of all operational aspects of the company and smart growth management. As CSO, Curt initiated and leads our Green Solutions Platform, HARGreen, implementing energy expense reduction strategies for our current portfolio – as well, providing these value solutions to building owners outside of Health American Realty Group.

Curt Mann is a well known specialist in helping building owners Power profits through Energy. With 30 years in Property Management, Curt understands that Green is simply code for Utility Reduction and smart growth management implementing new technology to reduce operating expenses. He’s prepared many road maps to increase profits through the creative initiatives – many at low cost or no cost ROI’s that can be calculated in days and months. This is the low hanging fruit that all companies should address as priority.

Curt is taking this knowledge base to maximize the natural connection between Sustainability and Health, enhancing Health America Realty’s competitive edge with leasing and marketing efforts and showing significant savings in operating expenses and CAM fee’s.

As President of a Southeast Real Estate Group for 14 years, Curt led an operating team of 350 associates managing over 9,000 multi-family units, and commercial buildings, including both fee and owned assets. He had direct oversight of human resources, marketing, training, risk management, operations, utility management, joint venture programs, property acquisitions, fee accounting, business development and property level information technology.

This broad product experience comes from a management, marketing, acquisition, and ownership capacity. He is regarded as a specialist in the turnaround of properties and has conducted marketing, motivational, and operational seminars throughout the U.S. and has had articles published nationally.

Curt is currently developing HARVEST: a 250-home Eco Village in the City of Atlanta, perhaps the first of its type in the Nation with standards such as Solar PV, Solar Thermal, and LED lighting. His personal residence in Atlanta, Georgia houses one of the first grey water in-house system and urban wind turbines in the country, according to the New York Times.

Curt attended the University of Kentucky. He has served on the Board of The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and currently serves on the Executive Board Committee of Progressive Redevelopment (PRI), an Atlanta based developer of affordable housing.

Darren Wagner
Vice President,
Managing Director of Florida

Darren Wagner joined HealthAmerica Realty Group in 2004 and brings 17 years of commercial real estate experience to our organization. Prior to joining HealthAmerica, Darren managed and leased properties for several medical institutions throughout Central and South Florida. His list of clients included Avmed Health Plan, AEtna, Travelers Insurance, Prudential, and HCA/Columbia Healthcare. With a solid background in construction and energy management, one of his strengths lies in the ability to increase the net operating income of his portfolio while ensuring tenant retention. He currently represents several medical franchisees expanding throughout the state and is aggressively expanding Health America Realty's Florida portfolio. Darren graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and is a Florida Real Estate Broker, a Real Property Administrator (RPA) and a CCIM candidate. He is also a member of Building Owners Managers Association (BOMA).

C. Lee Evans III
Senior Vice President,
Chief Operating Officer

Lee Evans serves as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining HealthAmerica Realty Group, Lee worked at Servidyne Systems, an energy management company providing engineering and maintenance expertise to building owners both in the commercial and hospitality real estate facilities across the country. Lee was part of several start-up companies, iTendant a web-based and wireless service request and preventive maintenance work order system allowing owners to increase visibility into their building operations. During such time, Lee was successful in securing agreements in excess of 25 million square feet which lead to the successful sale of iTendant to Servidyne Systems in the spring of 2004. Lee was an initial member of Cypress Communications securing Communications License Agreements with owners of real estate portfolios to provide high speed internet, telecommunications and business cable television. The Cypress’ Corporate Development group was instrumental in licensing over 300 million square feet of office space in over 50 US markets. This success culminated in Cypress IPO in 2000. Lee also has over 15 years of commercial real estate sales, leasing and marketing experience having held positions with Equity Office Properties Trust, Beacon Properties Trust, Taylor & Mathis and White & Associates. Lee graduated in 1984 from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration.

Patrick Bryan
Controller

Patrick Bryan joined HealthAmerica Realty Group, L.L.C. in 2005 as Controller. His responsibilities include the overall management of the financial and accounting functions for the company. Patrick comes to HealthAmerica with almost twenty years of experience in accounting of which thirteen of those have been specifically in real estate. Most recently Patrick has worked with Jamestown Management Corp. whose portfolio consists of several Class A properties throughout the United States. Patrick received a B.S. degree from Kennesaw State University.

Tim Trivers
Senior Leasing & Sales Associate

Tim Trivers brings over thirty years of real estate experience to HealthAmerica. He developed medical properties in Philadelphia, San Antonio, and Jacksonville while serving as President of Eastern Medical Management Company. Prior to that time, Tim served as Vice President of Hines Industrial in Houston, Texas and he developed healthcare projects in New Orleans and Atlanta while at Carter & Associates. Tim has been involved in healthcare projects from inception through lease up, management and sale. He serves in HealthAmerica's Investment Sales Division and contributes to Business Development and the general marketing of healthcare related real estate. Tim is a graduate of The Westminster Schools, and received a B.S. in Business Administration from C.W. Post College, Long Island University. He is a licensed real estate broker.

Jon Christensen
Vice President - Medical Practice Tenant Advisory Services.

Prior to joining HealthAmerica, Jon owned a small real estate development company and spent 12 years in corporate tenant representation. Jon was a First Vice President at CB Richard Ellis and a Managing Director at Studley, Inc. He has been a consultant to Fortune 1000 companies on how to align their business plans with their strategic real estate requirements. Jon is known for his ability to work through complex obstacles and find solutions to fit tenant’s space needs. Among his notable transactions were a 125,000 sq. ft. build-to-suit in Tucson, Arizona and a 260,000 sq. ft. renegotiation/expansion in Raleigh, NC. He has negotiated transactions throughout the United States and internationally. Jon now represents medical tenants in their effort to lease or buy medical office space working with tenants throughout the Atlanta region.

Todd Sloan
Vice President Leasing and Sales

Todd joined HealthAmerica as a licensed real estate agent in the state of Georgia in 2005. Todd works with national and local medical real estate owners in a leasing and sales capacity as well as representing medical tenants in their effort to buy or lease medical office space. During his time at HealthAmerica he has leased buildings and brokered deals all over the Metro-Atlanta area from as far south as Stockbridge, Fayetteville, and Newnan to as far north as Ellijay. He has successfully negotiated deals with many of the large medical groups in the area including The Piedmont Physicians Group, Wellstar Health Systems, Emory Healthcare, Cardiac Disease Specialists, Georgia Urology, and Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates. Prior to joining HealthAmerica Todd worked for Julian Lecraw, &Co. and then founded and subsequently sold Coastal Pest Solutions, LLC. He is a graduate of The Lovett School and received a B.A. degree in History from the University of Georgia. Todd lives with his wife and two young sons in the Buckhead area.

Leah J. Evans
Leasing and Sales Associate

Leah Evans graduated from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia in May 2007 with a B.B.A. in Real Estate. Leah joined HealthAmerica Realty Group in July of 2007 as a Leasing and Sales Assistant. Having completed an internship with Trammell Crow Company in Atlanta the summer of 2006, Leah brings a strong passion for leasing and sales to HealthAmerica. As the newest addition to the leasing and sales team, Leah is responsible for new tenant leads, drafting leases, marketing, market analysis, and data base management. She became a licensed real estate agent in the state of Georgia in February 2008. Leah now is a co-leasing agent for several medical office buildings throughout Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville.
